Quality Control Technician – Level 2
Brenham, TX • Full-Time • $19–$22/hr

Compensation & Schedule
•
Pay range: $19–$22 per hour, commensurate with experience and certifications.
•
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
•
Overtime as needed to meet business needs, which may include weekend work.
Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
•
Utilize GO/NO-GO gauges and calipers to perform QA/QC inspections of mechanical assemblies.
•
Utilize schematics, blueprints, or assembly documentation and a multimeter to perform quality inspections on various cable assemblies and PCBAs.
•
Perform IPC Class III inspections on PCBs and PCBAs and perform manufacturing Quality Audits.
•
Perform electrical continuity checks on work-in-progress or completed work as required by product documentation.
•
Be trained in and utilize all job-related software and computer programs such as email, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
•
Cross-train in manufacturing processes such as functional testing and assembly.
•
Identify opportunities for improvement within the manufacturing or testing areas of the company.
•
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Preferred Skills or Certifications
•
1–2 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role.
•
1–2 years of PCBA sub-assembly inspection experience.
•
IPC Certified or related IPC Class III inspection experience.
•
Proficient in the use of various inspection tools such as calipers and gauges for dimensional measurements on mechanical or electrical assemblies.
•
Experienced in the handling and application of various adhesives and epoxies on PCBs and PCBAs.
•
Ability to read, interpret, and work from assembly prints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
•
Effective and consistent communication.
