Volksmarch at Winedale

The Friends of Winedale and Houston Happy Hikers invite you to a volksmarch. A volksmarch is an organized, non-competitive walking event designated for people of all ages to promote physical fitness. Participants can choose to walk 3.1 or 6.2 miles. Between 9 a.m. and noon walkers start at Winedale’s Theater Barn and stroll through its campus and the surrounding area, ending their walk at the Lewis-Wagner House. There is no pre-registration and the cost is $3 a person. After the walk, participants are invited to join in the OktoBierFest festivities at the Round Top Rifle Hall.
